The Mayor of Castro Street
Director: Bryan Singer
Bryan Singer heads up a production on the tragic true story of Harvey Milk, a gay-rights activist and government official who was killed in November 1978 when he and Mayor George Moscone were assassinated by a former member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, Dan White. Based on Randy Shilts’ book and with a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie, the film is a co-production between Warner Independent Productions and Participant Productions.
