Niagaravation

It’s 1961. Humidorians from outer space have come to steal Niagara Falls and now only the Weiners and a gang of ghosts can save the great attraction. Such is the basic premise of this low-budget, deliberately campy sci-fi action comedy. Norm and Luann are the newlywed couple who discover the alien plot. The Humidorians, looking like failed make-up prototypes from a Star Trek episode, need the water for their arid planet. The ghosts, who at first help then hinder the couple all died attempting to navigate the falls. In the film’s exciting climax, the good-guys employ specially designed weapons (they shoot Silly String) to defeat the invaders.
