Como la vida misma

Melding two halves at odds with each other, this uneven drama-comedy is about a young man who goes to Escambray in the mountains to join an active theatrical company, and another young man who cheats on an exam to get ahead. In the first case, Fernando (Fernando Echevarria) takes off for Escambray and soon adapts to the new life of rehearsals and practice, work in the fields, and daily chores. As he is adjusting to everything, another young man is caught cheating on a test. Since this is a serious moral failing in the society, the thespians put their heads together to see if there is some way to use the incident for dramatic fodder.
