Synopsis:
A recut of the unreleased 1971 film, “The Forests Are Nearly All Gone Now.” June Michels (Alexandra Hay) works as a waitress in a small truck stop in Missouri. After meeting Richard Conley (Martin Sheen), a man in transit, June’s life is radically changed and she leaves for New York City, where she meets and falls in love with an advertising executive (Rod McCary).
