Director: Danae Elon
In the wake of 1967’s Six-Day War, Israeli parents Amos and Beth Elon hire Musa, a Palestinian man, as a caretaker for their daughter Danae. Despite historical tensions between Jews and Muslims in the region, Musa manages to coexist with the Elons for over 20 years before finally losing contact with them in the early 1990s. Years later, Danae — now a film student in New York City — attempts to track down Musa to uncover missing pieces of her childhood.
