Észak, észak

The directorial debut of Csaba Bollok is a short feature that tells the deceptively simple story of a woman taking a long-range bicycle trip. Juli (Laura Ruttkay) gets on her bike and, leaving her compass at home, heads out for some sightseeing. Along the way, she meets fellow travellers, helps a lost child, and is even taken hostage by a gang of truly inept criminals. Eszak, Eszak/North By North was shown as part of the 1999 Hungarian Film Week Festival.
