The Boys of 2nd Street Park (TV)

This TV documentary depicts a group of male friends who grew up together in the 1960s near a Brooklyn park. Their stories of childhood and young adulthood are told using a mix of interviews and archival footage. Drugs, the Vietnam War, tragedy and their search for personal fulfillment all play important parts in who they have become. A woman who was married to one of them offers another perspective. In the present day, they reunite for another basketball game at the old court.
