Une affaire de goût

Frederic (Bernard Giraudeau), a fastidious multimillionaire, hires Nicolas (Jean-Pierre Lorit), an impoverished waiter, to become his food taster. Awed by the extravagant salary, Nicolas leaps at the opportunity, even though it means he will have to give up smoking. As time goes by, Frederic imposes greater demands and harsher restrictions on his new employee. Nicolas is accommodating at first, but Frederic’s attempts at control and manipulation soon reach dangerous levels.
