Synopsis:

Through both interviews and dramatic reenactments, this documentary chronicles the life of Paulina Cruz Suárez, a woman who works as a maid in Mexico City. As a child living in a small town, Paulina suffered through many emotionally scarring events. Her mother lies, telling all the locals that Paulina was sexually abused, and then trades her to a wealthy man who actually does molest her. Her relatives, siding with her mother, then try to discredit Paulina’s side of the story.
